We have just finished our unit play scripts . For homework this week I would
like you to write the first scene of a play script.
Choose 2 characters and imagine that your 2 characters have just found
a magic jewel. Write some dialogue between the 2 characters.
Remember to include, stage direction, character
name:, brackets and punctuation.
Only write the first scene of your play script, as we would like other children to comment and write your second scene.
We are looking forward to reading your scripts.
Sene 1: (In the magic cave)
ReplyDeleteMiss Henderson: (Picks up jewel) Oh look i've found a jewel (smiles)
Jaime: Ooh, shiny
Miss Henderson: (picks up jewel) Oh look its glowing in my hand!
Jaime: What's happening? (shouts)
Miss Henderson: I don't know!
Jaime: Nor do I!
(Genie coloured pink, blue, yellow, orange and green pops out in a KABOOM!! sound.)
Scene 1-
ReplyDeleteJimmy: Look! There is something shiny on the hill. Bobby: Lets go and see what is is.(Jimmy and Bobby went up the hill and found a jewel)
Bobby: A shiny jewel?
Jimmy: Hold on there Bobby. It might be a magical jewel. Lets give it a test rub.(Jimmy picked up the jewel and rub)
Genie: Hello there boys!
Jimmy: Awesome! A Genie!
Bobby: So, as you are a Genie you can grant us 3 wishes, can't ya?(Bobby said with excitement)
Genie: Of cores not.
Jimmy and Bobby: What!(Jimmy and Bobby shouted)
Bobby: Come with me you BAD GENIE!(Bobby yelled at the genie with a Rude voice)
Genie: Where are we going?(Genie became puzzled)
Bobby: To the Spooky Cave.(Bobby answered back in a scary tune)
Jimmy,Bobby and the Genie all went to the spooky cave.

Diego:noooooo(yelled)

ibrahim:woho i am ok(happy)
diego:let me get you out
ibrahim:i will never rub that agen
Diego:lets go home(happy)

Tanvi: Wow Shreya we found a magic jewel!!
Shreya: Lets see what it dose.
(Tanvi rubs the jewel and a genie comes out)
Shreya: OMG a genie!!!
Paul and John had just found a magic jewel.
ReplyDeletePaul stares at the Jewel.
John looks at the Jewel and then at Paul.
Paul says to John "What shall we do with this?"
John says to Paul "It's mine and i'm not sharing it!"
Paul then picks up the Jewel.
Paul then walks upto John and says "you either share it or I chuck it in the River and you will never see it again!"
John smiles at Paul and says "ok"
Scene1: Kate and Robbie are in the park playing I spy and they find a little red jewel.

Robbie:Yes!But it is a bit dusty.(Robbie picks up the jewel and rubs it and a rainbow comes out)
Kate:Did you see that!
Robbie:Yes!That was amazing!
Kate:Should we follow it and see what is at the end?
Robbie:Yeh!(Kate and Robbie follow the rainbow to see what is at the end).
Scene 2
Delete(At the end they find a magical castle, and and see a lot of jewelery but they need to enter the code which they don't know)
Kate:We have to type the code.
Robbie: Yeah!I know. But whats the code? How are we going to enter inside?
Kate:We can climb the castle and break the window.
Robbie:No.That is the wrong thing.
Kate:Lets figure out the code.
(There were 7 handles and they needed to put them in the right order)
Robbie:Maybe it is the colours of the rainbow when we rubbed the gem and a rainbow came out.
Kate:Yeak.Looks like it.
(So they fitted the colours which are violet,indigo,blue,green,yellow,orange and red)
(The door opened and they went in)

Layla:I'm getting a bit bored of this game, can we play something else?
Lizzy: Ok how about Hide and Seek?
Layla: Alright then, who's counting?
Lizzy: I'll count and you go hide, I'm counting to 30 alright?
Layla: Ok then you start counting and Ill go hide
(Layla goes and hides while Lizzy starts counting)
Lizzy: Ready or not here I come
(Lizzy starts looking around for Layla but finds something rather impaticular)
Lizzy: Layla come look at this it's really pretty and it even glows it looks something like ...
Layla: A jem, its a jem its sparkling , pretty and colourful too it has to be a jem

(Pratyaksh and Pratham are playing football in the garden.)
Pratyaksh:I am bored!Lets explore in the garden.

(So they started exploring)
Pratyaksh:Pratham!look what I have found!

Pratyaksh:I found a jewel.
Pratham:lets rub it.
(Pratham rubs it,then a genie come out.)
Both:WOW!!!!That is awesome.
(Genie can fulfill one wish for each of them.)
Pratham:I want a toy gun with bullets.
Pratyaksh:I want to be a part of the government, so that I can rule the whole country and buy anything I want.
(Genie fulfills their wishes.)

(Jia roaming here and there,shopping for her 18'th birthday party and suddely she finds her friend Honey)
Jia: Honey
Honey: Hi there Jia.Happy Birthday Jia.How are you?
Jia: I'm doing fine. How are you?
Honey: Oh I'm doing fine as well.What are you doing here in the market?
Jia: I'm doing shopping for today's party. Are you coming for my party?
Honey: Obviously!
Jia: So what are you doing here?
Honey: Ummm...Nothing just shopping.
Jia: Are you Buying my Birthday present?
Honey: I already bought it.
Jia: Can I have the present now. Pleaaaasssseee
Honey: NO
Jia: PLEASE
Honey: Ok, fine there you go (hands over a fine looking box to JiA)
Jia: WOW, it looks really beautiful.Thanks Honey.See you at the party. Bye
Honey: Yeah Bye
(Jia Heads Home. In her Room she opens the box and Finds a beautiful color changing Jewel which is magical)

Holly; Look over there Jake its a pyramid!
Jake: Woah! your right that is a pyramid I bet there's jewels and gold!
( Runs into the pyramid)
Jake; So there is jewels and gold.
Holly: There loads of them!
Jake: Holly look at this!
Holly: What it is?
Jake: Its a Jewel a very special one.
( Picks up the jewel carefully)
Holly: Its so shiny and so .... I don't how describe because its so beautiful!
Jake: Lets get out of the pyramid and put this in a special put it in a special box so it doesn't brake.

Nish:How exciting?Come on lets go and clean it.
(Shash started to rub the crystal).
Shash:My God the crystal is shaking and glowing.
Nish:I'm sure it is a magic jewel.
