London Ambulance service

Today Y4 had a special visit from the London ambulance service. Sarah and Josh. They told us which numbers to ring.  999 for life threatening emergencies and 111 for emergencies that are not life threatening.

They told us all about the recovery position and put Kajus in the recovery position. 

They then showed us some of the treatments they use to help people who are injured. They needed some volunteers

They showed us some of the specialist equipment they use when they help people. This is a stab prof vest that they need to wear. It's very heavy.
