3C Investigates!!!

Yesterday 3C received an important parcel labelled URGENT!! It was from the POLICE!!!

The Parcel contained evidence collected from the crime scene.

The Police asked us to help them solve an important crime. A very important liquid worth 1 million pound had been stolen and hidden in some rocks.

As forensic scientists we needed to investigate which rocks could have hidden the liquid. Which rocks were permeable.
We decided to conduct a drop test to see which Rock absorbed the most liquid.
We wrote our predictions and Jenny faxed them to Scotland yard.

We tested 5 different kinds of rocks. Bassalt, Limestone, Granite, Chalk and Marble.
.

We observed the rocks and recorded our results.

We found out that Chalk was the most permeable rock as it absorbed the most water. We faxed our findings off to Scotland Yard to help with their investigation.

We had a really fun afternoon and really enjoyed being forensic scientists.
