Poetry writing

This week we have been learning about poetry and  beginning to write our own poems.
Use what you have been learning this week to write your own poem about a magic box and add it using the comments box to this post.

Example:

I will put in the box
A golden sunrise shimmering on the ocean waves.
The sound of butterflies fluttering in the breeze
The taste of my favourite ice cream
A smile from my baby sister

Now have a go and make your own.

      The kisses of my sister
      The giggle from my sister
      and the bluest waterfall made out of a colourfull rainbow.

      My box is fashioned from melted chocolate
      The lid has the shinyest top ever
      The hinges are made of solid gold

      I shall visit delisious chocolate land in my box
      Where all the children eat and eat
      It is my secret place when it is bed time
      and chocolate land is where all your wishes come true!!!
